| BIOGRAPHY I live in the beautiful city of Vancouver, B.C., Canada. When you travel the short distance from my place to the downtown area, you have a gorgeous view of the harbour with the mountains in the distance. Randy Morlanston, my dancing partner, and I have been couples dancing for many years. I have been teaching Line Dancing for over twelve years and enjoy choreographing dances.. Randy, also, occasionally choreographs dances with me. As a member of the CWDI (Country Western Dance International), I like to support and compete in the CWDI Vancouver Vibrations Dance Festival held here every year and am looking forward to doing so again next year. This event is hosted by Jenifer Reaume Wolf and her husband Larry Wolf. Please contact me if you need further information on this event. Presently, I teach at 5 different locations, South Granville Seniors Centre, Kerrisdale Community Centre and The Brock House Society, which is a private club, overlooking English Bay and the North Shore, Shannon Oaks Retirement Home and South View Terrace Retirement Home. The Westend Seniors Action Network, Vancouver, B.C. published the following article in their book "Everyday Heroes" touching the hearts of Westend Seniors. Nominated by Zan Romeder. Irene Groundwater is our Texas Line Dancing Teacher at the South Granville Seniors Centre. She is unique, ambitious, open, fun and a great teacher.
